Ponies (UK) Kempley Ridden Cob Qualifier, Championship to be held in 2009 at the  

Newark & Notts Show Ground, Newark. The 1st 2nd &3rd IN EACH QUALIFYING

CLASS WILL QUALIFY no qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placings will be

confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary.

 

Class  21  :   OPEN HACK   Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148cms

Riding Horse Class at the National Championship Show in September.2009

 

Ponies (UK) Hazelden Rosettes Riding Horse Qualifier, Championship, to be held in

 2009 at the  Newark & Notts Show Ground, Newark.  The 1st 2nd &3rd IN EACH

 QUALIFYING CLASS WILL QUALIFY no qualification cards will be awarded in

the ring, placings will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary.

 

Class 24   :    MAXI  COB   :  Mare or Gelding 4 years or over. Mare or Gelding

                       Exceeding 155cms

 

Class  25C  : CHAMPIONSHIP   :   Open to 1st and 2nd Prize   Winners from

Classes  :  20…24  20, 21,23 &  24  -  All Hacks, Cobs and Riding Horses that have been

 placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd  At any affiliated show in open classes during 2009 qualify for

the Classic Supreme 2009 classes at the British Show Horse Association National

Championship show in September 2009.  Shows held after the  2009 National

Championship Show will carry the qualification (s) forward to 2010.

 

This Show is a qualifier for the BLUE CHIP & IDHS (GB) £2,000 CHALLENGE.

The Qualifier from  CLASS 20  will be the highest placed horse (not already qualified )

that is registered or eligible for  registration on the Irish Draught or Irish Draught Sport

Horse Register, i.e. with a minimum of 25% proven Irish Draught breeding. The horse

need not be registered to qualify but MUST be on the IDHS(GB) registers by the time of

the Championship, which will be held at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed show on  2008 at

the Lincolnshire Showground.   Each Qualifier will receive a rosette and £10 voucher from

Blue Chip. IN THE FINAL, the champion will be awarded £1,000 prize money plus

a Trophy and Blue Chip rug,

The Reserve Champion will be awarded £500 and 3rd to 7th inclusive will be awarded

£100.00 each.

In addition, £100  prize money plus a Trophy will be awarded to the highest placed Pure

Bred and  a Trophy To the highest placed Under 15.2hh.

Class   32    : RIDDEN ANGLO AND PART—BRED ARABS  Stallions ,Mares &

                       Geldings UNDER 148.  4 years old and over  To qualify -  One  Blue Card

                        : Will not be ridden by  the judge at qualifying shows, but  will   be ridden

                         by a Lightweight  adult at the Cherif Championship Final.  One entry will

                         qualify. The highest placed entry within the first four in the class, who

Has not already qualified will qualify.

 

Class    33     : RIDDEN ANGLO AND PART  - BRED ARABS.  Stallions, Mares

                         & Geldings . OVER  148cms.   4 years old and over. To qualify  :  One

White Card -  and one : Green Card. -  Will be ridden by the judge.    Two

may qualify. The highest placed entries within the first four in the class at

(a ) up   to and including 153cms ( b) over 153 cms  Will qualify. No entry

placed lower than fourth  can qualify, even if only one height section Is

covered by the top four in the class.All exhibitors are issued with colour

coded qualifying cards, which state the height section of the horse / pony

Competitors must carry their qualifying cards with them in the ring to be

signed by the judge. Failure to produce the card for signature means non

qualification.

52S :             This Class is a Qualifier for the SIR LANCELOT MEMORIAL

                      TROPHY

                       The winner of the Sir Lancelot special rosette will be the Adult Member

                       (from the S.S.A. Area in which the   Show is  Held) who during the

                       Equitation class (irrespective of final placing) is judged to be the most

                       elegant.   That member  will be eligible to compete in the Final for the Sir

                       Lancelot Memorial Trophy (donated  by  the late Mrs  E. Skelton) at the

                       S.S.A.    National Show. A Member may only qualify once per season .

 

Class 53  :  SIDE SADDLE CONCOURS d'ELEGANCE     Judge  :  To Confirm

                      The sole criteria for this class is the elegance of the picture presented by

                       horse and rider. Attention  may be  paid to the rider's personal appearance

                       but detailed inspection of rider or tack is not required. Fancy dress  or

                       period costume is not permitted. No individual show is required, but the

                       Judge may ask groups of three or  four riders to give short displays.  3

                       special rosettes will be awarded; to the highest placed Adult rider wearing

                       a silk hat and to the highest placed Adult rider wearing a bowler hat, and

                       the highest placed Junior provided they are members of    the S.S.A. 

                       N.B. Silk hats are permitted to be worn by Adults in this Class AT ANY

                       TIME OF DAY. Juniors  Must  wear hats to current British Safety

                       standards or above for this class.  Adult riders not wearing  such hats do  so

                       at  their own risk.

 

Class  54    :  SIDE-SADDLE RIDING CLUB HORSE / PONY OPEN CLASS

                      Open to horses and ponies 4 years old or over. Riders will be required to

                      give a short show including a small jump,  maximum 61cms (2'). The

                      height may be adjusted during the course of the class at the Judge's

                      discretion. The class shall be judged on the show, the manners of

                       horse/pony, and its suitability for the rider. Conformation will not be

                       considered. A Special rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Adult

                       and Junior Members of the S.S.A..

 

Hats to be the current British Safety standards or above must be worn for this class.

                         name registered at Wetherbys and used while in training. Horse must

                         have raced 2 races either in National Hunt or on the Flat, be

                         registered in Wetherbys main studbook and a copy of the passport

                         must be supplied to the Show Secretary, Class to be judged in a

                         Riding Horse format and may be ridden or required to give an

                         individual show or both. Horse must be plaited, No Stallions.

SPORT HORSE BREEDING GB  offers one premium in class 56. The premium will

take the form of a Service Voucher valued at £100.00. to be used for the service of the

mare by any graded or life approved stallion.  The Premium will be awarded at the judges

discretion to his selection from the prize winners. The premium is to Be used in the two

years following the year of the award and the owner must be or  become a fully paid up

Member.  Only one award per year may be accepted.

These classes are affiliated to the British skewbald and Piebald Association and are

qualifiers for  THE  ROYAL INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW, Hickstead 2010.

 

Classes will be judged under BSPA , copies of which can be obtained from them.   ALL

horses must be registered with and owners & rider’s members of  BSPA prior to the

show.  Rider age is taken as 1st January.  All Stallions MUST be graded and licensed By

BSPA.  No rider under 14 yrs may exhibit a stallion in any class.  Membership and

qualification cards MUST be carried in the ring by competitors and produced as required

for inspection or signature.  Failure  to do so will disqualify any competitor and their

Qualification handed down to the next unqualified competitor.  Spurs must not be worn

in any pony classes.  Ponies 153cms or under must possess a current JMB height

certificate.

 

Qualification:  1st place and the next unqualified competitor standing 2nd and 3rd

qualify  from each   class.  No competitor may qualify from lower than 3rd place.

Sports Horse Breeding GB require all exhibits in the hunter classes to be on their register

please state identity number on the entry forms. All classes to be judged in accordance

with SHB(GB) rules 2009. To be judged 40% Jumping performance,  40% as for Hunter

classes and 20% for style and presence.

Sport Horse Breeding  (GB) offer a special rosette to the highest placed  horse in each

sport horse  competition.

SPORT HORSE CHAMPION TO RECEIVE THE WHIDDY SPORTS HORSE SHIELD.

Each horse is judged individually on a triangle and then walked round the ring

as a class.  Marks are awarded for confirmation, walk, trot and overall manners.

                          their 17th  birthday before the 1st January in the current year.

Class   86   :      B.S.P.S. MARE OR GELDING, four years old and over. Exceeding

                          143 cms.(14h) Not  exceeding 153cm.(15h)    Riders not to have attained

                          their 20th  birthday before the 1st January in the current year.

Class   87   :      B.S.P.S. MARE OR GELDING NOVICE  Mixed height class for

                          working  Hunter  Ponies not exceeding 158cm (15.2h)  Competitors must

                          jump in their correct height section and be the correct age for the height

                          of the pony. The class will begin with the 148cm

                          14.2h  to 158cm   (15.2h) Section.

Class   88   :      B.S.P.S. MARE OR GELDING OPEN  INTERMEDIATE  Working

                          Hunter  Four years old or over exceeding 148 cms..and not exceeding

                          158 cms .Riders not to have attained their  25th birthday before 1st

                          January in the current year

Class  89C  :    CHAMPIONSHIP Open to 1st and 2nd prize-winners in Classes 

                          84, -85,86,87, 88.

                          

The Champion  will qualify for the B.S.P.S. David Manning Champion of

Champions.

This show is a qualifier for the B.S.P.S   Summer Championship (1st—3rd )  BSPS.
