These classes are held under the rules and jurisdiction of the British Show  Horse Association.

 

Class  20  :   OPEN COB    Mare or Gelding 4 years and over,  exceeding 148cms and not exceeding

                    155cms To be Ridden.

 

Ponies (UK) Kempley Ridden Cob Qualifier, Championship to be held in 2010 at the   Newark & Notts Show Ground, Newark. The 1st 2nd &3rd IN EACH QUALIFYING CLASS WILL QUALIFY no qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placings will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary.

 

Class  21  :   OPEN HACK   Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148cms and  not

                                                exceeding 160cms.

                                                                    

Class  22  :   NOVICE RIDING HORSE    Mare or Gelding 4 years & over  exceeding 148cms.

 

Class  23 :   OPEN RIDING HORSE   Mare or Gelding 4 years old or over, exceeding 148cms. 

 

The three highest placed animals in this class  will qualify to complete in the Classic Riding Horse Class at the National Championship Show in September.2010

 

Ponies (UK) Hazelden Rosettes Riding Horse Qualifier, Championship, to be held in 2010 at the  Newark & Notts Show Ground, Newark.  The 1st 2nd &3rd IN EACH QUALIFYING CLASS WILL QUALIFY

 no qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placings will be confirmed by results sent in by the show

secretary.

 

Class 24   :    MAXI  COB   :  Mare or Gelding 4 years or over. Mare or Gelding   Exceeding 155cms

Class  25C  : CHAMPIONSHIP   :   Open to 1st and 2nd Prize   Winners from Classes  :  20…24

 

  20, 21,23 &  24  -  All Hacks, Cobs and Riding Horses that have been placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd  At any affiliated show in open classes during 2010 qualify for the Classic Supreme 2010 classes at the British Show Horse

Association National Championship show in September 2010.  Shows held after the  2010 National

Championship Show will carry the qualification (s) forward to 2011.  

 

This Show is a qualifier for the BLUE CHIP & IDHS (GB) £2,000 CHALLENGE.

The Qualifier from  CLASS 20  will be the highest placed horse (not already qualified ) that is registered or eligible for  registration on the Irish Draught or Irish Draught Sport Horse Register, i.e. with a minimum of 25% proven Irish Draught breeding. The horse need not be registered to qualify but MUST be on the IDHS(GB) registers by the time of the Championship, which will be held at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed show on  2008 at the Lincolnshire Showground.   Each Qualifier will receive a rosette and £10 voucher from Blue Chip.

 IN THE FINAL, the champion will be awarded £1,000 prize money plus a Trophy and Blue Chip rug,

The Reserve Champion will be awarded £500 and 3rd to 7th inclusive will be awarded £100.00 each.

In addition, £100  prize money plus a Trophy will be awarded to the highest placed Pure Bred and  a Trophy To the highest placed Under 15.2hh.

This is a qualifying show for the British Arabian Championships to be held  on  August 6th  2010

CHERIF QUALIFIERS    This ridden qualifying competition is open to registered  Anglo & Part- Bred Arab stallions, Mares  and Geldings  4 years old and  over any height.  All Part-Bred Arabs must contain the Minimum 12.1/2 % Arab blood..

 

Class   32    : RIDDEN ANGLO AND PART—BRED ARABS  Stallions ,Mares & Geldings UNDER

                   148.  4 years old and over  To qualify -  One  Blue Card  : Will not be ridden by  the judge at

                   qualifying shows, but  will   be ridden by a Lightweight  adult at the Cherif Championship Final. 

                   One entry will qualify. The highest placed entry within the first four in the class, who Has not

                   already qualified will qualify.

 

Class    33     :   RIDDEN ANGLO AND PART  - BRED ARABS.  Stallions, Mares & Geldings .

                     OVER  148cms.   4 years old and over. To qualify  :  One White Card -  and one : Green

                     Card. -  Will be ridden by the judge.    Two may qualify. The highest placed entries within the

                    first four in the class at (a ) up   to and including 153cms ( b) over 153 cms  Will qualify. No

                    entry placed lower than fourth  can qualify, even if only one height section Is covered by the 

                    top four in the class.All exhibitors are issued with colour coded qualifying cards, which state the

                    height section of the horse / pony Competitors must carry their qualifying cards with them in the

                    ring to be signed by the judge. Failure to produce the card for signature means non qualification.

 

 NO CARDS TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE RING ONCE THE CLASS HAS STARTED.

 

This is a qualifying show for the CHERIF CHAMPIONSHIP 2009.  The final will be held at the Cherif

Championship Show Addington Manor Equestrian Centre Addington Bucks on  September  16th 2010  All details and qualifying cards at £18.00 each (payable to Cherif Championship ) from  Miss L Temple, The Stables, Aston Gifford Lane, Codford, Wiltshire.                     to 12st.7lb,  to exceed 148cms  but not to exceed 158cms.

 

Class 37  :   MIDDLEWEIGHT HUNTER  Mare or Gelding, 4 years old or over,  capable of carrying

                   12st 7lbs  and not exceeding  14st.

 

Class 38  :   HEAVYWEIGHT HUNTER   Mare or Gelding, 4 years old or over , capable of  Carrying    

                   14st .      

                 

Class  39 :  LADIES HUNTERS  Mare or Gelding 4 years old or over. To be ridden by a lady in

                  Side –Saddle

 

Class  40C : CHAMPIONSHIP  :   Open to 1st and 2nd placed winners from classes  :  35 — 39

                     CHAMPION            :   To receive the   BRYANTS P.C.  Cup and   £30.00

 

Class 41 SC :  SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP  :   Open to the Champion & Reserve Champion from the Ridden & Hunter  Breeding Championship.  SUPREME CHAMPION to receive the HUBERT TAYLOR  P.C.Cup & £50.00

            The 1st 2nd &3rd IN EACH QUALIFYING CLASS WILL QUALIFY    no qualification cards

 36—37   38 S  :   Ponies (UK) Whittakers Lord Open Hunter

qualifiers, Championship Riders  are to have attained their 16th birthday by 1st January 2010

 The 1st 2nd &3rd IN EACH QUALIFYING CLASS WILL QUALIFY

 no qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placings will be confirmed by results sent in by the

 show secretary.
