RULES OF THE SHOW
1. This show is to be held under Poultry Club Rules and Exhibitors making entries agree to
be bound by the same.
2. All exhibits to be bona fide property of the exhibitor.
3. Closing date for entries will be Sunday 2nd July 2008. A free pass will be sent to exhibitors
4. Entry fees must accompany entry forms and should be sent to the Poultry Show Secretary.
5. No Rail stock can be accepted.
6. The poultry marquee may be closed for judging.
7. Judging will commence at 10.15 a.m. (Exhibits penned by 10 a.m.). Lifting time for all exhibits
will be 5.00 p.m.
8. Any objection must be lodged with the secretary with a £1 deposit before 3.30 p.m. The deposit
will be refunded if the objection is upheld
9. Only litter provided by the show will be admissible in the pens, However, giving water to the
birds after judging will be the owners responsibility
10. While at the show, the whole of the exhibits are in the custody of the show committee and
must not be touched or handled by either the exhibitor or other persons, except with and in
the presence of a member of the show committee who gave permission.
11. Every care will be taken of the exhibits but the show committee cannot be held responsible
for any loss or damage incurred during or after the show.
12. Any exhibits which in the opinion of the committee or a judge is deemed a health risk or is
fraudulently prepared will be disqualified.
13. Presentation of trophies and specials and payment of prize money will take place on show day.
14. All trophies are perpetual and must be returned by the next annual show. All engraving to
be carried out at the exhibitors expense
15. Class 78 only. Children to assemble by pens at 10.30 a.m. when they will be expected to
handle their pet and to talk to the judge about it. The pet can be crossbred.
